I was upset and panicked
I am registering as a Korean teacher at an online lesson site.
I registered about 4 years ago.
First 2 or 3 years, I had almost no reservation from any students.
But finally, recently I am having reservation from some students little by little.
Lesson is usually done by Skype, but sometimes by Zoom, too.
Last night, I had reservation of Zoom lesson from a student.
It was after long time for me to use Zoom, so I was preparing long time before the starting time, and waiting for the time.
Then, it was just starting time, however, I couldn't come into the meeting room !
Why ? I didn't know...
Soon, I had message from the manager of the site, 'Student is waiting for you in the meeting room. What happened ?'
I was upset, almost panicked and tried some way, after that, finally I could come into the room about 15 minutes later.
I apologized to the student deeply, fortunately the student understood me, so I could complete the lesson.
Although Covid-19 has ended or not, at least, for language lesson, the needs of online will increase from now on, too.
I knew later that the student reviewed my lesson as so fun and helpful and reserved the next lesson.
I am very thankful and happy.
I want to continue doing my best from now on.
