会話を続ける難しさ

Yesterday, a new student came to take lesson in the afternoon.

She had learned at the other class in the past, therefore after self-introduction, we enjoyed short conversation.

I always think that study is possible alone, but conversation is not possible alone.

Therefore I want to make more time as I can for students of mid level or higher.

But, actually, it's difficult.

Because sometimes it's difficult task in Japanese, therefore more effort is necessary to continue conversation in foreign language.

It's difficult but interesting job.

昨日は午後に新しい生徒さんが来てくださいました。

彼女は以前、別の教室で勉強されていたそうで、そのため私たちは自己紹介の後、簡単な会話を楽しむことができました。

いつも思うことですが、勉強は一人でもできますが、会話は一人ではできません。

だから私は、中級以上の生徒さんには、なるべく多くの会話の時間を作ってあげたいと思っています。

しかし、実はそれは難しいことでもあります。

日本語でも会話を続けるのは時に難しいことがあるくらいですから、ましてや外国語で会話を展開させるには、さらなる努力が必要です。

それは難しいことですが、面白いことでもあります。
